Fishing boat navigating through large crashing waves in a stormy sea
A fishing boat battles enormous waves during a fierce storm at sea

Do you ever feel like you are in the midst of the storm, as if the waters are about to overwhelm you? You’ve cried out to God, but all you hear is silence. The challenges of life seem to be crashing down around you, leading you to question, “Will I make it through to tomorrow?”

When we encounter the storms of life, whether they come in the form of challenges, heartaches, or overwhelming circumstances, it’s all too easy to forget the countless times God has brought us through adversity. Throughout our journey, He has consistently proven His faithfulness; He has never let us down in our moments of need, and He will not abandon us now.

I feel that the Lord is speaking to someone who is struggling: He is saying, “I will not let the waters of despair overflow and overwhelm you. I will not allow the flames of hardship to consume your spirit. Trust in Me, for I am with you in every trial, guiding and protecting you.”

Remember, God has guided you through every storm, pain, and heartache. If He has brought you this far, He will not abandon you now. You have overcome what has attempted to break you, and this current battle is no different.

You are not finished yet. Breathe and trust God. The enemy tried to break you, but you were built to endure pressure. When you hear that voice in your head urging you to quit, silence it! You are stronger than fear. The enemy wants you to believe you are weak, but in reality, you are strong.

God is the reason you’re still standing strong, breathing, and thriving! Allow yourself to hold on to hope, for every storm eventually passes, and before long, the sun will break through the clouds, shining brightly as a powerful reminder of His unwavering faithfulness and love. Embrace the journey, knowing that even in the darkest moments, His presence sustains you and guides you toward brighter days ahead.

Deuteronomy 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. (NIV)

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (NIV)
