Throughout our lives, there will be moments when we stand among the ruins of our dreams, feeling overwhelmed by our loss and devastation. It’s perfectly normal to cry out in sorrow or express our anguish in loud, raw emotions. However, it is crucial to remember that we cannot linger in this state forever.
God understands our need for a mourning period, acknowledging our grief and pain. He also knows that it is important for us to rise from the ashes of despair, gather our strength, and find the courage to fight for a brighter future once more. In these moments of recovery, we are given the opportunity to rebuild, learn, and grow stronger.

Satan tries to keep us stuck in a place of deep pain; his desire is for us to remain in the fiery furnace. He aims to make us feel so hopeless that we believe we can’t rebuild our lives. He wants us to fall into despair and failure.
On the other hand, God allows the tough times in our lives for a reason. These challenges can test our faith, helping us learn to trust Him more and strengthen our relationship with Him. Instead of breaking us, these struggles are meant to help us grow and become stronger.
God has a remarkable way of transforming our greatest struggles into unprecedented victories. What the enemy intends for our destruction, God can multiply into something greater.
Take the story of Job, for example-he lost everything: his wealth, his health, and his family. Yet, in the end, God restored all that Job had lost and even doubled his blessings, demonstrating that even in our darkest moments, there is hope for renewal and abundance.
Job 42:10 Then when Job prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his wealth and happiness! The LORD gave him twice as much as before. (TLB)
What Satan intended for evil, aiming to bring despair and chaos, God has the power to transform for your ultimate good and to reveal His magnificent glory. In times of hardship and trial, even the darkest moments can serve as a greater purpose, ultimately leading to healing, growth, and a deeper understanding of His divine love.
Remember… weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5 (KJ)
God does not abandon us in our moments of despair; instead, He reaches out to lift us up, reassuring us that we are never alone, even when we find ourselves in the most challenging and fiery trials of our lives.
The longer we allow ourselves to stay down, overwhelmed by our circumstances, the more difficult it becomes to rise again and regain our strength. This is exactly what our adversary desires: to see us remain defeated and unable to move forward.
We must be resolute and refuse to give him that satisfaction. Instead, we should embrace the hope and support that surrounds us, knowing that we have the strength to rise again and overcome any obstacle placed in our path.
My challenge to you is for you to stand tall in the flames, picking up the ashes, and trust that God is protecting you in the fire.
