Preparing for His Return: The Church’s Role in Spiritual Warfare

I feel a profound urgency about the Lord’s imminent return. He is calling us to step into our true identity as the church. The time has come for us to wield the power He has bestowed upon us. We are not to conceal our light but to let it radiate, empowering us to take charge of our faith and actions. The time is now. We cannot afford to delay.

Have we forgotten there is a lost world out there that needs Jesus? Do we only want to stay in the little part of our corner and only think of ourselves? How easy is that for us? Do we have the mindset that we only care about ourselves and our family? That is not what God wants us to do. We must remember the lost and pray for their salvation.

We must diligently prepare the way for the Lord’s coming, understand our duty, and commit ourselves to this important task. It is time for the Lord’s army to get on its knees and pray. Pray that this world’s eyes will open up to what the enemy is doing. We cannot sit back and allow Satan to have his way with our families and with us. There is too much at stake. We must actively engage in this spiritual battle, for each of us plays a significant role in praying against evil and for the victory of God’s kingdom.

Our time on this earth is unknown. We do not know the day or the time when our Lord will sound His trumpet and call His Bride home. Revelation 22:12 Says, “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. (NIV)So, while we are on this earth, being about the Lord’s business means living a life that reflects His love, sharing His message of salvation, and serving others in His name.

Will we be willing to answer the call? Will we pray and ask God to open the eyes of those Satan has deceived? Pray that what the enemy has meant for evil, that God will turn it around for His glory. Mountains can be moved when we pray. We must never stop praying for miracles! We must continue to knock on heaven’s door, seeking God’s intervention and guidance through prayer and fasting!

We must have an open heart and ask God to show us exactly how and who to pray for. We are God’s army, and He will go before us as we fight against the darkness of this world. It is time for us to cry out and say, Send me. I will go where you want me to go. I will do what you have called me to do.” Will we be like Isaiah, who said, Here am I. Send me. (Isaiah 6:8 NIV)

As we stand on the brink of these last days, the question that looms is: Will we be the army God is seeking?
