Our yearning for God’s presence is a testament to our desire for Him to fill our hearts and lives. When we wholeheartedly pursue God, He becomes our ultimate desire. He wants us to seek Him with all of our strength and devotion. God longs to spend time with us, but it is often us who do not make room for Him. It is important to remember that He is always available to us, just a prayer away. He never tells us it is to early or too late to speak to Him; His door is always open. Our problem is we put God on a schedule. We must make a conscious effort to prioritize our time with Him, for it is in these moments that we can truly connect with His divine presence.
It takes time and effort to spend time with God. But remember, He never tells us that we are not welcome. God eagerly looks forward to hearing from us. We are the ones who become so busy that we do not think about God, and then we try to say a short prayer before we go to sleep. How can we expect God to come down into our circumstances and situations if we do not seek the one who is our source of help?
It is essential to remain open to God’s presence and try not to confine Him in our narrow perspectives or ways of life. When we sense God’s calling, it is crucial to set aside distractions and to actively seek His guidance and wisdom. We should always be attuned to the Holy Spirits influence in our lives and be receptive to His promptings. He urges us to deepen our connection with Him and to cultivate a strong desire for the presence of the LORD.
God desires our complete and unwavering devotion. When we earnestly seek Him above all else, He promises to reveal incredible and powerful things to us. He should be essential to us as the air we breathe, and our longing for Him should surpass all other desires. We must never prioritize anything or anyone above Him, as He is a jealous God. However, it is essential to remember that the rewards of our wholehearted commitment to Him are vast and deeply satisfying. Let us not forget that our devotion to God is not one-sided it is a relationship that He cherishes and reciprocates in ways that are beyond our comprehension.
