Sometimes, the battles we face can take our breath away. Our heart begins to take an abnormal leap, and it feels as if our chest will explode. We often do not have the words to express to God what we need. He will send the Holy Spirit to comfort us through those difficult times. We must run to our prayer closets, a metaphor for a quiet place where we can be alone with God, knowing we will find the answers and the rest we seek. Our load of life can become too heavy to carry. However, we must remember who has walked beside us; held us in His arms through our many battles. Through our difficult struggles of life, we become a stronger Prayer Warrior.
A Prayer Warrior is never immune to the many circumstances in our daily walk with the Lord. Prayer Warriors never give up the fight with the enemy, when the enemy brings in doubts, fears, or external challenges, and he brings a battering ram to our front door. Satan is hoping that the house we have built will begin to crumble. It seems as if our world is falling piece by piece. The sunshine has become stormy, and the winds have become robust, threatening to break us. Satan hopes we will not seek our haven during those times, where he knows we will find the rest we need during the havoc he has started. When we seek God with all our hearts, the storms begin to fade, and the sun comes out and brings back life into what we thought would destroy us.
