What will you do when the enemy comes knocking at your door?

When the enemy comes knocking at our door, will we run or pick up our weapons and fight? Satan has no problem bringing discord and havoc into our homes. He will use the many distractions of our lives, hoping we will not take the time to stop and find out where this is coming from. He loves to use our families to keep us so busy that we will not have time to spend in our prayer closets or read our Bibles. When these distractions enter our household, we must take the time to stop, breathe, look around, and ask God to open our spiritual eyes. Satan is hoping that we will be too busy to consider where these attacks are coming from. His desire is for us to be ignorant of his devices and for us to forget that he is behind the day-to-day confusion.

We need to reach over and pick up our weapon of prayer and the weapon of the word of God. We need to suit up and put on our armor. Our armor is there to protect us; we need to put on the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the sword of the spirit, and the belt of the truth. The army of God needs to always be ready for war, for we never know when the enemy will sneak in from the back and attack us. Stay vigilant, and stay strong in your faith.
